Last week, we took the opportunity to make a positive impact in our community, as part of Ius Laboris' 2nd ESG impact week, which this year aims in raising funds to fight against child labour.
Our team visited the 2ndchance dogs shelter to volunteer and support their incredible efforts in rescuing and taking care of dogs in Cyprus. The shelter's mission is to change the way people think about dogs and they work towards the day when all dogs will be treated with compassion and respect, and live a life without pain, suffering and fear. It was a truly heartwarming experience, from spending quality time with the dogs and shelter staff, to being informed about their activities and how small actions can hugely impact animal welfare.
To balance wellness and sustainability, we also organized a Pilates session at the Akropolis park, which allowed our team to energize and recharge.
Both activities reflected our commitment in going beyond legal work and taking the time to raise awareness and support social and environmental causes.
